This charming and very well situated 68sqm apartment is located in Paris’ 5th arrondissement in the lively rue Saint Séverin. It is situated on the 4th floor of a XVIIIth century building equipped with a security code, without an elevator.
The apartment is vis-à-vis with the gargoyles of the Saint-Séverin Church (a very charming place to visit!) and its proximity to the Notre-Dame Cathedral, with its many close-by restaurants, makes this a perfect place to call your home from home!
This apartment can welcome up to five people on the queen size bed, single bed and double sofa-bed, that are built for comfort and everyday use. The place is situated right in the heart of the Latin Quarter where the Romans first settled when they arrived in Paris. You will consequently find the ruins of Cluny and the arenas of Lutèce just a short walk away.
From this area, you will be able to stroll through the streets of Paris very easily. Walk as true Parisians to the Ile St Louis, Saint Germain des Près, the Louvre or the Marais in less than half an hour.
Just around the corner you can find a delicious farmer’s market three times a week and many restaurants from the most traditional to the very trendy ones.
Access and public transports :
The fifth and sixth arrondissements are very well served with public transports. The RER B from Saint Michel Notre Dame can bring you to Roissy and Orly airports in less than 45 minutes. To commute across the city, there are the metro lines 4 (Saint Michel) and 10 (Cluny). The bus is also a great way to get around the greatest sights of Paris, the lines 21, 27, 38, 82, 84, 85 and 89 are easily accessible.

We were able to walk everywhere from the apartment--Notre Dame, Shakespeare & Co., Jardins du Luxembourg, Rue Mouffetard. The apartment is nicely decorated and just as it appeared on-line. The stairs are crooked, charming... and challenging! We loved that it was an authentic old building and all the stair climbing helped us combat our extra eating! It was a little bit warm in the apartment at night (we stayed in August), one fan was provided but we could have used an extra one for the bedroom, but this was only a very minor issue however. Overall we would return to St. Severin in a heartbeat. Thank you! Marta (Spain)
We had a wonderful time. The apartment is perfect and in a great location. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you Adam and Veronique!
A great apartment with a wonderful view and location. Very comfortable with all of the right amenities. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Best Part - being in Paris.
My husband and I searched many apartments before we came to this one. I feel we made a great choice! The apartment is on the top floor as we were aware with lots of stairs to walk up, but who cares your in Paris and will do lots of walking and eating so enjoy your cardio workout! The location was great as it was away from car noise but you could enjoy the everyday sounds of people passing by. A short walk to Norte Dame and close to a metro station which was a breeze to use The apartment is quite spacious and is beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was quiet being at the back of the apartment. We loved the beautiful sounds of the Saint Severin bells ringing. We will stay here again when we visit the city of lights.
The apartment was perfect. I would most definitely use your services again.
L'appartement est très bien placé dans Paris : parking, métro, commerces, restaurants et monuments à immédiate proximité. Sa décoration est agréable et le confort total. Nous regrettons une léger détail : pas de patères dans la salle de bain pour les vêtements.
Loved our stay! Perfect location, good views and warm and inviting. Enough room for all five of us. Will recommend this apartment to those I know that our heading to Paris.
We rented this one bedroom apartment at the beginning of April 2014. It was very clean and spacious and fit our family of 5 quite comfortably. The views to St. Severin and down on the busy street were wonderful, and we loved being only about a block from Notre Dame. The church bells do ring in the mornings, but not until 9am, so they actually provided a beautiful wake up call. The location of the apartment is ideal, as you are within walking distance of Notre Dame, Ste. Chapelle, Ile St. Louis, the Louvre and the Luxumbourg Gardens among other places. The streets below are quite touristy and busy, but you are high enough up that we didn't hear any street noise. The apartment had everything we needed for an unforgettable week in Paris, and the check in and out process went very smoothly. There was someone to meet us at the apartment at the appointed time, and they were on-time for our check out as well. I would definitely recommend this apartment as well as Paris Rental Services.
Thank you so much for your considerations attending to our greeting and departing. The flat was lovely, everything we needed and absolutely in the best place for accessing Paris on foot, "brilliant" and of course for the hundreds of restaurants. A special thank you also for arranging "Nicholas" to meet us at the airport, he was amazing and had even been to our home town! And to Adam for waiting at the front door to greet us, a seamless arrival. Due to your endeavours our first days in France were worry free. We will be back, thank you. Kind regards to all, Ros and Graham.
Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. All amenities maintained well and tastefully decorated. Helpful contact people.
This flat was fantastic. We spent a week here and wanted to be in the heart of Paris which was the ideal location. The flat offered more than I expected, It was bigger than I imagined from the photos. Having been warned that Paris apartments are usually tiny, this was not the case. Everything was well appointed and well maintained and a pleasure to come back to at the end of the day (we thought it felt like our home away from home and a great retreat). There were some great little touches like and espresso set and French magazines and some very functional things like the washer/dryer that were great and the whole apartment was just... comfortable. A couple of things that you should be aware, there is no lift so you will have to climb the stairs to the 4th floor - great exercise after eating bread and drinking the wine. Also there is no air conditioning but having the windows open allowed a nice breeze through the flat. That aside, it was a great apartment and now hold some special memories for me and my now fiancee.
Fantastic flat, well furnished, in St Germain - French Quarter comfortably accommodating my family of 4. Great location and easy access to grocery stores, restaurants and Boulangeries. Look forward to returning in the future.
We loved the apartment on St. Severin. It has a world-class location, we just couldn't get over waking up each morning and looking out the window at St. Severin church. We enjoyed the sounds from the street below in the evening--street performers and people enjoying themselves. The setup was comfortable for our family of four.
The flat was very clear.
